October 2024 Licensure Update

The deadline for established BCBAs/ BCaBAs to apply for licensure as a Nebraska Behavior Analyst is quickly approaching. After November 30th, no unlicensed individuals will be able to provide behavior analytic services in Nebraska without penalty. Please visit DHHS to learn more about the application process and apply for licensure today!

 

In addition, a public hearing meeting date is set to review draft regulation for Nebraska Behavior Analysts. On November 18th at 1pm the public can provide comments on the proposed regulations that apply to the Behavior Analyst license. You can find the draft of the rules and regulations by going here then scroll down to Title 172, Chapter 86.

NEABA will be presenting, “Licensure for BCBAs and BCaBAs Practicing in Nebraska: What You Need to Know.”  Steven Taylor, BCBA-D and member of the Nebraska Board of Behavior Analysts, will summarize key elements of the law and the rules and regulations that govern the practice of behavior analysis in Nebraska.  Every behavior analyst practicing in Nebraska should attend this training.
